Learn how to make healthy munching snack at home - Murmura namkeen or diet namkeen. Simple filling snack which can be consumed in between meals without any guilt. Pack for travel, office or even picnics. A healthy snack which needs not much preparation.

Ingredients:
Puffed Rice (Murmura) - 200 gms
Peanuts - 1 cup
Cornflakes - 1 cup
Curry leaves - A few
Salt, Turmeric powder - As per taste
Dry Mango Powder - 1/2 tsp
Mustard Seeds (Rai) - 1 tsp

Method:
1. Heat 2 tsp refined oil in a kadai, roast peanuts till brown and remove from kadai. 
2. In remaining oil, saute mustard seeds, curry leaves. Switch off the flame and add turmeric powder along with puffed rice. Mix well. Switch on the flame and roast the mixture. Add roasted peanuts, cornflakes along with all spices. Roast for 5 min. 
3. Cool down the murmura namkeen and store in an airtight box.
