Ingredients:
Golden Apple – 2 pcs
Methi Dana, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, mustard seeds– ¼ tsp
Salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Red chili – 1 pcs
Sugar – 1 tsp
Oil – 1 tsp

Method:
  1. Peel apples and remove the core of the apple. Cut circular slices and keep aside.
  2. In a non-stick pan, heat oil and splutter all kind of seeds and methi dana. Add apple slices, red chili, sprinkle all spices. Sauté for 5 min and add sugar and little water. Cover the pan and cook for another 5 min till apple gets tender. Once ready, serve hot with roti or bread.

Ingredients:
Wheat flour – 2 cups
Soyabean flour – 1 cup
Rice flour – 1 cup
Cauliflower – 1 cup
Carrot – 1 pcs
Boiled potato – 1 pcs mashed
Beans – ½ cup

Ginger garlic – 1 tsp

Ingredients:
Banana – 2 large pcs
Milk – 1 cup
Refined flour – 2 tbsp
Rice flour – 2 tbsp
Castor sugar – 2 tsp
Oil – 2 tsp

Method:
1.       Mash 1 pcs of banana and add all flours and sugar. Using milk, prepare a batter. The consistency should be just like that of any other batter, neither too thick nor too thin.
2.       In a non-stick pan, pour the pancake batter on heated pan. Apply little oil on sides to cook the pancake. Once cooked from one side, flip over and cook again.
3.       Cut another pieces of banana and stuff it inside the pancakes. Sprinkle little tutti-frutti on it or dazzle honey to enhance the flavor.

Ingredients:
Boiled and Pureed pumpkin/ Kaddu – 100 gms
Wheat flour – 2 cups
Salt, Turmeric powder, Carom seeds/Ajwain – ½ tsp
Black Sesame seeds – ½ tsp
Oil – for frying

Method:
1.       Knead dough using all the ingredients. Add 1 tsp oil in dough to keep it soft. Roll the dough in small balls. Roll the puri and using a heart molds, cut heart puris. Deep fry these pumpkin puris and serve hot with mango pickle and curd. 



Who doesn't like chocolates!!! When you can make chocolates at home, then why to buy these from market. Chocolate making is really a very simple process. Collect few interesting mold and chocolate compound and your job is done.

Ingredients:
Premium Dark Compound- 1 packet
Milk compound – 1 packet
Premium white compound – 1 packet
Chopped nuts – 1 cup
Chopped Raisins – 1 cup
Various shaped molds

Method:

  1. White chocolate - Cut small pcs of white compound in a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 30 seconds. Once done, mix the compound using spoon. Again microwave for 20 -30 more seconds. Mix the compound well to get a smooth creamy compound. Add ½ tsp oil in compound, if it gets too dry. Pour the white compound in any mold. Tap the mould for even distribution of compound. Keep the mould in freezer for 5- 10 min till set. Un-mold the chocolates.
  2. Brown chocolates – Follow the same procedure as above except add half quantity of both dark and milk compound in bowl to get medium dark chocolate.
  3. Different flavours and shapes of chocolates :
    1. Marble chocolate – Add white compound first, top with dark compound in the same mould.
    2. Happy Anniversary – In a piping bag, add white compound. Pour white compound only in the written inscription. Allow it to set for few min in freezer. Top the mould with brown compound mixed with crushed nuts. Set in freezer. Once un-mould , t he written part will be highlighted on brown base.
    3.  Raisin chocolates – Place 2-3 pcs of raisins at base and top with either of the compounds in different shape moulds.
    4. Different shapes – in different shape mold, try out other variations of chocolates

Corn Meal/ Coarse Corn Powder – 1 cup
Hung curd – ½ cup
Chopped Ginger – ½ tsp
Chopped Beans – ¼ cup
Shredded Carrot – ¼ cup

Method:
1.       Mix all the ingredients and make small tikkis or cutlets of this mixture.  Also add 1 tsp of oil in the mixture. It will enhance the flavor. Airfry corn cutlets in preheated Air fryer at 180 degrees for 10 min. Serve hot with coriander chutney or sauce.

Ingredients:
Besan/ Gram flour – 250 gms
Castor sugar – 200 gms
Desi ghee – 200 gms
Choco nuts+ Chocolate sauce – quantity depends upon the number of ladoos

Method:

  1. Melt ghee in Kadai/ pan. Add besan and cook it on medium flame till it turns brown and a nice aroma of cooker besan starts. It will take around 15-20 min to cook besan. Stir continuously for an even colour. Once brown, allow the mixture to cool down slightly. Gradually add sugar and mix well. Keep this for cooling. Once completely cooled, make small balls or ladoos of the mixture. Size of the ladoos can vary.
  2. Chocolate variation – Make a well in the centre of the ladoo and add choco nuts in the centre. On the sides of the ladoo, layer chocolate sauce with help of cone.
  3. Keep these ladoos in fridge for some time for setting.  Chocolate besan ladoos are ready to serve.



Kache Kele or raw banana cutlets is a lovely breakfast recipe where boiled raw banana and potatoes are mashed together to give a fantastic flavour.  Corns and cheese further enhances the taste when used as stuffing.

Ingredients:
Raw Banana – 250 gms (Boiled)
Boiled Potato – 2-3 pcs
Bread slice – 1 pcs
Corns – 1 cup
Cheese/ Paneer – 200 gms
Salt, Red chili powder, Chaat powder – ½ tsp each
Hing/ asfoetida , Amchur powder/Dry mango powder – ½ tsp each

Method:
1.       Mix banana, potato and bread slice to make a mixture. Add all spices. Crumble cheese, add corns to prepare for stuffing.
2.       Make 2 small cutlets of banana mixture and stuff corn material in between. Similarly make all other cutlets and shallow fry these. Serve hot with green chutney or sauce.





Masala peanuts is an apt snack to go along with tea in the evening. It is really very easy and quick recipe and goes healthy too as these are not deep fried but Air fried in Philips Airfryer.

Ingredients:
Raw Groundnuts/ Peanuts - 1 bowl
Gram Flour/ Besan – 2 tsp
Rice flour – 2 tsp
Asfoetida powder/ Hing – a pinch
Cooking soda – a pinch
Amchur powder – ½ tsp
Salt, Red chilly powder, Turmeric powder – ½ tsp each

Method:
  1. Mix all ingredients except groundnuts to form a a paste. Add little water if paste gets too thick. Add peanuts and coat with the masala with help of fingers.
  2. Preheat the Air fryer. Add masala peanuts by separating the individual pcs as much as possible in airfryer. Air fry peanuts at 200 degrees for 10 min. Allow the peanuts to cool down. Once cool, sprinkle amchur powder on top and serve with Tea.



Matar Paneer in Philips Soup maker sounds like a weird idea but it really worked. The taste of matar paneer made in soup maker was really good.

Ingredients:
Peas/ Matar – 1 cup
Paneer/ Cheese – 150 gms (deep fried or saute)
Diced Tomatoes – 2 medium size
Diced Onion – 1 medium size
Ginger garlic paste/ chopped – ¼ tsp
Salt, Red chili powder, Turmeric powder – ½ tsp each
Cumin seeds/ Zeera – ¼ tsp
Oil – 1 tsp

Method:
1.       In soup maker, add tomato, ginger garlic paste, salt, turmeric powder and 150 ml of water. Select the smooth program to make tomato puree.
2.       Simultaneously, prepare the tadka for the puree. Heat oil, sauté cumin seeds and onions. Cook till the gravy leaves oil. Add this tadka to the tomato puree, add peas as well and select the compote program till the gravy gets little thick.
3.       Once peas gravy is ready, add cheese cubes while gravy is hot. Serve with roti/chapatti or bread.

Ingredients:
Boiled Potatoes – 2 medium sided
Corns – ½ cup
Brown bread – 1 slice
Chopped capsicum – ¼ cup
Chopped onions – ¼ cup
Mayonnaise – 2 tsp
Butter – 1 tsp
Salt – ½ tsp
Chaat Masala – ½ tsp (optional)

Method:

  1. In a pan, heat half quantity of butter, sauté onions, corn, and capsicum. Add salt and chaat masal. Saute for 5 min.
  2. Meanwhile mash the potatoes, add remaining butter, 1 tsp of mayonnaise.  Mix it completely to get a smooth potato paste.
  3. Cut out a bread slice as per the shape of the baking dish and spread a layer of remaining mayonnaise on it. Either Grease the baking tray or cover with foil paper.  Place the bread slice in baking dish. Top the bread slice with corn mixture and then spread a layer of potato paste. Bake it in preheated airfryer at 200 degrees for 10 min. Allow it to cool down and then remove from the baking tin. Serve hot with chips, candies, ketchup.

Made the traditional matar in innovative manner by changing the shape from long sticks to a cashewnut shapes and usually the matars or namakpare are deep fried but we tried to air fry these matars. And the result is in front of you..So try out these healthy kaju namkeen matar at home and enjoy as a perfect tea time savory snack.

Ingredients:
Refined flour/ Maida – 2 cup
Refined oil - ½ cup
Hot water – ½ cup (if required)
Salt – ½ tsp
Chaat Masala – ½ tsp
Ajwain – ½ tsp

Method:
1.       Make a dough of all the ingredients. First mix flour and oil to get bread crumbs like mixture and with a soft hand make a soft smooth dough. The dough should be firm.
2.       Divide small portions of the dough and roll it like a roti with a help of rolling pin.  Cut out cashew nuts shapes using a bottle cap with sharp edges. Make all matars like this.
3.       Preheat the airfryer and put all Chashew nut shaped matar in airfryer at 180 degrees for 10 min. Once airfryed, golden brown colour kaju matar will be ready. Allow the matar to cool down and serve with tea.




This is a very interesting snack recipe as, though we named it idli but we will not be using any idli batter or semolina to prepare Instant Idli. Bread slices and potato cutlets are used to give a idli like shape and appearance.  Another quick and innovative snack!!!

Ingredients:
Brown Bread slices - 3 pcs (cut in round shape)
Potato Cutlets – 3 pcs (shallow fried, corn, spinach or any other cutlets can also be used)
Curd – 1 cup
Mustard seeds – ½ tsp roasted
Curry leaves – a few
Coriander chutney- ½ cup
Tamarind chutney – ½ cup
Pomegranate seeds and Sev or Bhujia - for garnishing

Method:

  1. Mix mustard seeds in curd and keep aside.
  2. In a nonstick pan, place a cutlet and put a round slice of bread on top of it. Spread 1-2 tsp of curd on the bread slices in such a manner that the sides are pressed to give a shape of idli. Let it cook for 5 min on medium flame. Simultaneously prepare all other bread idli like this. Ensure not to cook the top of bread slice else the colour will change.
  3. For serving, place all idlis in serving plates and top with a little coriander chutney. Add pomegranate seeds and sev at sides of the plate. Also the left over bread can also be toasted in non-stick. Coat the tip of the bread with both cutney and coat with sev or bhujia. These sticks will complement the snack. 


Appe is very famous south Indian Recipe which is made using rice but we have used semolina and few vegetables to make instant Appe. This is a perfect and very cute snack recipe which can be presented in form of flower!!!  Check this video out to know how…

Ingredients:
Suji (semolina) – 1.5 cups
Curd – 1 cup
Roasted Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
Chopped capsicum – ½ cup
Chopped carrots – ½ cup
Chopped ginger – ½ tsp
Salt – ½ tsp
Eno – 1 sachet
Oil – 2 tsp

Method:
1.       In a bowl mix semolina, mustard seeds and curd. Keep this mixture for 1 hour for fermentation.
2.       Add all vegetables and salt into the mixture. Add little water if the batter is too thick. The consistency of the batter should be like that of idli batter.
3.       Add eno sachet in the fermented batter. Heat Appepatran or Appe pan on a medium flame. Add little oil in each section of Appe pan. With the help of a spoon pour the Appe batter in each section. Cover the pan with the lid or plate and allow to cook for 2 min. Once cooked, turn the side of Appe with help of a knife or spoon. Cook the other side for another 2 min.
4.       Once the Appe turns golden brown from both sides and raise like a cute small ball, it is ready to serve. Serve hot with tomato ketchup or coconut chutney.

Masala papad cones is a very very simple and quick Indian snack recipe.  All Indian homes have 1 or more types of papad at home so this is a very interesting twist to use papad as a snack.

Masala papad – 2 pcs
Rice puffs – 1 cup
Chopped tomatoes – 1 cup
Chopped cucumber – 1 cup

Tomato Ketchup – 2 tsp (optional)
Green coriander chutney – 2 tsp (optional)

Method:
1.       Break papad into 2 equal parts to give 2 semicircles. Microwave 1papad at a time for 20-25 seconds. While the papad is hot, curl it to form a cone shape. Similarly make all other cones.
2.       Make a mixture of all other ingredients except ketchup and chutney. Stuff this mixture into each cones. Place each cone in short glasses. Put little amount of mixture at the base of the glass as well. Garnish each cone with tomato ketchup and coriander chutney. Serve immediately as cones will get soggy if kept for long time.

Laung (Clove) – 2-3 pcs
Dalchini (Cinnamon sticks) – 2-3 pcs
Methi dana (Fenugreek seeds)–  a pinch

Method:
