Ingredients:
Paneer - 200 gms
Chopped Onions/ Onion paste - 1 Bowl/ 1 pcs
Salt, Red chilly powder - As per taste
Lemon - 1 pcs
Chopped ginger garlic - 1 tsp
Tomato ketchup - 1 tsp (optional)
Fresh coconut - 100 gms (Remove brown portion and cut into pcs)
For Tempering:
Desi ghee - 1 tsp
Coriander seeds - 1/2 tsp
Red chilly powder for colour - 1/4 tsp
Method:
1. Coconut milk - Grind coconut with 1 cup of water in a grinder jar. Sieve the milk using strainer or muslin cloth. The coconut milk received is the first extract which is thick and creamy.
2. Heat little oil in a kadai, Saute ginger garlic paste, chopped onions. Add salt and red chilly powder and lastly add coconut milk. Cook at medium to low flame for 10 -15 min, till the gravy thickens.
3. Simultaneously prepare desi ghee tempering by heating ghee in a pan, splutter coriander seeds. Switch off the flame and add coloured red chilli powder.
4. Serve the prepared coconut milk paneer curry with chapati. Topped with the tempering.
