Peanuts- 1/2 cup
Chana Dal - 2 tsp
Garlic cloves - 3-4 pcs
Curry Leaves - Few twigs
Red chili dry/fresh - 3 pcs
Green chili - 2 pcs
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds -1/2 tsp
Salt - As per taste

1. Dry roast peanuts on medium flame till crisp. 
2. Heat 2 tsp mustard oil in a pan, roast chana dal along with cumin seeds, garlic cloves, green chili, 1 pcs of red chili. Roast for 2 min and lastly add few curry leaves. Cool down this mixture.
3. Grind all ingredients in mixer grinder. Add water in jar for easy grinding and even consistency. Add salt in between. Grind to get a coarse chutney.
4. Tempering - Heat 1/2 tsp mustard oil and saute mustard seeds along with red chili and few curry leaves. 
5. Pour the tempering over peanut chutney.
