See how to make traditional Goan sweet, Christmas delicacy - Kulkuls. Kulkul are traditionally deep fried but here we are making healthy non-fried kulkuls recipe with Airfryer. Kulkuls are Christmas special sweet or cookies which are crisp from outside and soft from inside.

Ingredients:
Refined Flour (Maida) - 1 cup/ 200 gms
Sugar - 1/2 cup/ 100 gms
Butter - 2 tbsps
Salt - a pinch
Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp

Method:
1. In a bowl, mix sugar and melted butter. Add refined flour, salt and vanilla essence. Mix well to make a crumbly mixture.
2. Add very little water and make a thick non-sticky dough. Let it rest for 15-20 minutes.Keep it covered. If in case, you have added more water,add little more refined flour and correct the dough)
3. Take small balls and make spiral shapes using a comb or fork as shown in the video. Spread a thin layer on the comb or the back of fork. Roll it to make a spiral shape. Press it gently so that it doe not open up while frying or air frying.
4. Place all Kulkuls in preheated air fryer and air fry for 5 min first. After 5 min, shake kulkuls and again fry for 2 min, in total 7 min in airfryer.  
5. Cool down completely and store in airtight container.
