Today we will see how to make Instant Sweet Paniyaram/ Rice flour appe. Sweet appam/ Banana Appam is a popular South Indian sweet recipe made with rice flour and jaggery flavoured with coconut and cardamom powder. These sweet banana paniyaram can also be served as a snack in kids lunch box or can be packed while travelling.

Rice Flour - 1 cup
Jaggery - 1/2 cup
Banana - 1
Chopped Coconut - 1/4 cup
Cardamom Powder - a pinch

1. Heat 1/2 cup water with 1/2 cup jaggery. Melt jaggery on medium flame. Cool it down.
2. Mash or blend banana. 
3. In a bowl mix all ingredients to prepare thick batter. 
4. Heat appam pan and grease all moulds with desi ghee. Pour batter in each mould upto 3/4 level. Cook on medium flame till firm from one side. Flip over with help of spoon or skewer. Cook from other side. In total it will take 10 min to cook from both side. 
5. Serve immediately else store in air tight container.
